Looking to sell my RRS, have tried uploading some pics here but no joy, I'm not very techno! Below is the ad I've placed on Autotrader and was looking for some feedback as to pricing etc. Below ad is link to the actual advert so you can see pics, mods please remove if I'm not allowed to do that.

Full service history and just had major 5 year/75000 mile service. All main dealer apart from last which was done at Famous Four LR specialists. Any trial or inspection welcome AA, RAC, LR etc Supercharged looks but with better fuel economy, full Supercharged badges, grill and new stainless steel exhaust with 25 year warranty. 22" Overfinch alloys, privacy glass, colour coded grill, mirrors and handles.Adaptive Cruise Control, Sat Nav,Electric memory seats, heated seats front and rear, fridge, 6 cd. Forgot to say if it sells to a forum member than a donation will of course be mad to the site.

Assuming its an 4.4 HSE its a bit over priced, with the miles the Cap Retail is 17,695 and CAP Clean (trade) 14,700

Although its a good colour combo ect the 4.4 are pretty hard to shift, usually an accurate private sale figure is somewhere between the two cap figures above, my advise 16k ish

It amazes me that it's possible to buy a RRS for £16K nowadays

Depreciation is depressing!

I sometimes feel like a fool for spending £70K to get what is essentially the same car as this bargain!

2nd hand or lease for me next time

Someone has to buy them 1st hand for us to have all the bargains next time around .

However, it's partly a confidence thing, a couple of years ago the 2nd hand prices dropped like a stone when dealers paniced about having too much stock and have risen slowly since.

X5, no need to remove your comment and you are spot on I did ask for feedback on price which you kindly gave. It may not of been what I wanted to hear but it was not malicious just based on fact.

Mine is one of the cheapest of that spec, year and mileage on Auotrader at the minute so I will give it a week and then if nothing happens I will reduce the price, as the saying goes you can always come down but you can't go up

Dropped price to £17800 now, hopefully get some interest.

might try getting rid of my 4.2s/c at £16,000

Shouldn't have any problems selling at that price
