just remapped my rangy

just remapped my rangy
It's the 2011 tdv6, it pulls quite a bit harder and flys upto 90 so much easier but doesn't seem anymore economical compared to before so far,
anyone else had a remap with similar efects?

Who cares if it's not more economical. It's faster!!! Lol. It maybe just because you've been putting ya foot down a lot more since the remap.

Ecconomy = driving style and the characteristics of your regular route Thumbs Up

NOT what map your are running

Mine is planted on 25mpg post map.... it was 25 when I got it (pre map) but a whole heap quicker (when I want it to be)

Forget the mpg and enjoy the fact your 2.7 is now performing as LR "should" have mapped it.

Edit:

Whoops

3.0 TDV6! Enjoy!!!! RRS gone
Audi SQ5...Gone Audi Q7 S-Line 240 3.0TDI Gone
Audi A6 Allroad Sport 270 3.0TDI

I am lead to believe it is a ecu out job, it can only be mapped on the bench, its not switchable like the 2.7 and 3.6 Big Cry

Without sticking the knife as this is not my intention as im sure they have done a great job for you at corten millers when tuning your car, Id like to point out that its very likley that they have infact removed your ecu to reporgram it.

As a Superchips dealer they are tied to use these tools, http://cmd.flashtec.ch/index.asp of which only make the 3.0L by the Bootmode Tricore flashing process which is on the bench.

Im more pointing it out for you so you are aware that infact your ecu may have been opened when tuning was dont and soo you may wish to be aware of it.

Im assuming you left the car with them or waited for it in another room and didnt se the process from start to finish ?

I may be totaly wrong and if so im sorry for my post but im not aware of any company in the world yet who can make this model by full OBD.

How about servicing and LR updates? Will that overwrite the map? MY10 HSE 3.0 TDV6 : Santorini Black : Ebony Interior w/Anigre wood : Privacy Glass (total) : Sunroof : Sidesteps : Hybrid TV : Detachable Tow Kit : Spare Wheel Cover : 22" Dished Supersports

Servicing and oil resets wont change anything, but of course if any software updates were done then these could.
