There must be cheaper ways to carry weights around than in the back of a sport. Either engine will be capable of carrying your equipment. Boots are big but not huge, discovery boots are bigger. Why not buy a cheap van?

Do you know how much that lot will weigh? Sounds like it may well be over the max towing limit for the car. J |

Should be ok then but I would have thought you would be better off with a new/nearly new pick-up with a manufacturers warranty etc. finance on the newer vehicle will be far better and i believe the tax is friendlier on pick-ups too. With your bdget you will be buying at the lower end of the RRS market so high miles and big bills will be common. Sorry to ![]() J |

My advice would be get a van, as suggested earlier, honestly, getting a sport for that sort of money and using it everyday as a workhorse it will spend more time in at the dealers unless you are very very lucky, with that budget chances are you will be looking at a high miler, fully laiden don't expect to get much more than 18-19 to the gallon on a good day |

The big plus for buying a van/pickup is that you can claim the vat back on the purchase price- you can't do that with the RRS, too many windows! as others say get something specifically for your business then when it takes off get an RRS as a second car! Round here, there is a chap making a mint off the yummy mummys doing bootcamp classes at £20 an hour in the local park!! Does dozens of classes x 10 every week!
