Has anybody got any info on buyacar.co.uk, I have read a number of mixed reviews but most of the negative comments are coming from land rover customers so I'm not sure about these guys.

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

My Dad bought a C class Mercedes from these guys in October 2010 at a hefty discount.

Had no issues at all. He was quite wary so he just paid the deposit and then the balance when we went to pick the car up from their offices, after we looked round the car and made sure everything was OK.

The car was brand new (not pre-registered), UK car built to his spec (took about 10 weeks) with only about 10 delivery miles on the clock sourced from Mercedes Benz Corporate.

No complaints at all and would use them again. Proud owner of a 2008 TDV8 HSE.....and an Audi A3 2.0T DSG Cab and a Porsche 911 Turbo (Mercedes W208 320 CLK and Mercedes W124 E220 Estate now gone)

He dealt with Rob Shadick initially but he left half way through whilst we were waiting for it to be built and then Owen Pugh took over.

Both of them were great and the handover between the two was smooth. Owen arranged for the delivery to their office and the pick-up. We even went out for a test drive to ensure everything was OK before paying the balance for the car.
