Timed climate control unavailable - check battery / fuel???

All - I'm getting the message "timed climate control system unavailable - check battery / fuel" most cold mornings. Battery and fuel seem absolutely fine. Car is a MY10 RRS and does ~50 miles a day (hour long journeys, not short trips). Anyone else seen this?

Yep...think it is a system bug.... Looks like the car think that we might have a remote/programmed option to start the fuel burn heater (FBH) at specific time and/or remotly but we don't....

Doesn't stop the FBH to works anyway Range Rover Vogue ‘17 TDV6

Got mine activated but not used it in anger yet - or at least I thought not. Had a day off earlier this week and happened to be passing the car in the garden and heard the noise the fuel burning heater makes (sounds like a small jet engine). Opened the car door and was hit with a wave of heat.

I hadn't realised that the thing had been set to come on at 8am every day! I'm usually in work then and not back to the car until after 4pm so would have never known! Anyone know how much fuel it uses?

I am getting used to this excellent feature but only on timed or with the remote. One option I cannot get to work is the manual heat when sat in the car.

If the engine is on manual isnt available - obviously the normal heater mode cuts in.

With the engine off the heat mode is avaialble but doesnt always select - especially if I have been driving and then parked up. If the car is cold it does selct but after 2 minutes (it seems) the car shuts down and the auto heat control lamp switches off - the car remains cold.

Manual vent always works - no good in minus figure temps in the North East of Britain!!

User error? any ideas team? Now - MY11 RRS Autobiography TDV6, Orkney gray, tints, steps, daylight running lamps and allllll the toys!!!

Well, the FBH burns about 0.5l/h at full load and about 0.25l/h at part. load, not much maybe, but....

Yes, the Diesel does not need electrical power per se, but still it has to recharge the battery of all the juice used by the electrical equipment, this means more load on the engine and more fuel consumption, how much I can't tell.
