United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey

Playing devil's advocate - the car is sold on condition and mileage, is it material to either of these factors as to howe many times it has been sold previously.

At 1st I thought this was going to be a one owner story that was going to turn out to be a hire company.

I'd prefer 10 previous good owners to 1 previous bad one Thumbs Up

I appreciate that you may have been given incorrect info - and it may be important to know whether this was deliberate or an honest mistake but if you are happy with the car then keep it.

Hope you get a result with the dealer.

Can see why u would be annoyed that the info u were given was not accurate but id suspect a main dealer will have many cars on site and it would be easy for an administrator or salesman to become confused over the cars details, so to suggest you were lied to simply to sell you the car it might be a bit harsh.

Car in my opinion sounds like a bit of a dog anyway, last thing I would be doing is modifying it..... rather handing it back and looking for a right one. There is only 3k margin in the older RRS and id suspect only so much the dealer can offer to appease you over a small error which can be put down to confusion. The car screams problems to me even if you manage to get £500 back due to the impact the change in owners will have on its salability thats not going to go very far when it comes to LR parts and labour costs.

Please explain why the car sound like a dog as I really can't see how you can tell???

Ok the EGR valve failed but this Is a problem through out the range, these were replaced under LR warranty!!!
The car it's self is totally immaculate and blemish free this is why I'm finding it hard to understand your statement.

I know the number of owners will reflect the resale hence the reason I want this sorting out ASAP, I didn't find out about the owners till after I'd fitted the wheels.

I'll just see what they say tonight.

Hiya Shane I have a sneaky feeling we had a chat the other day....by the way car doesnt sound like a dog to me, egr valve, replaced no issues, the only issue is owners as the salesman would have had the screen in front of him and been able to login to tell you exactly how many instead of getting mistaken info from maybe another RR....

We did buddy, looking forward to seeing you soon mate. Thumbs Up

Right I had the meeting at LR today and I'm glad to say it's all sorted, they offered me a full refund even though they knew I'd changed the wheels, but I decided that I didn't want to part with the RR so we both agreed on a good lump some in return aswell as a HST front grill to be supplied and fitted free of charge.

So I'm happy again.

LOL, I got the wheels from wheelworx in Mansfield, cost £1050 fully fitted and balanced, really good service too.
