When I bought mine pulled by old Bill as they thought it was cloned (but luckily wasn't).
They called few weeks later to say an ad in Autotrader had rrs with my no. plate on and selling to cheap. Was on dodgy council estate in Northampton. They went round nicked the seller and I suppose found somebodies sport.
Even if car is cloned any hpi check done won't show anything dodgy so beware.
