United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Zermatt Silver
Fault Code Reader

I was thinking of buying a fault code reader from these guys http://www.talktomycar.co.uk/ the OBD link SX model. Does anyone know if this particular model will communicate with them, or have any experience of one? BTW I have the air bag light on (2007 TDV6 SE). Just thought I might aswell fork out and get one then I'll have one rather than paying LR to tell me what's up with it, I intend to fix it myself, checked all the connections I can, even had the steering wheel off but no obvious faults.

Hello Boost
I have the new Gap-diagnostics IID tool it reads and clears most faults and it is still in development, so more features will be available. It also controlls the air suspension. Great bit of kit for the price. Britpart are the uk distributor

Hi Shepp
Seem to remember the beta test units cost about £250. How much are Britpart selling "production" units for?

Hello
The obd2 units on ebay, do only a fraction of the gap diagnostics kit can do.
My tool cost around 240, I think the retail unit should be somewhere near. Plus gap are also adding handbrake diagnostics and control, o should be giving it a test soon. Bang for your buck I think the gap diagnostic tool will soon pay for It's self. Mine has almost paid for itself already..especially since my very nice wife bought it for my birthday
