Hi there,
I bought a trelgo trailer from Banbury trailers a few weeks back, it was self assembly which kept cost down to £370 , it is fully galvanised, most second hand trailers seem to be 250 and pretty rubbish, don't tell them, but they messed up and gave me a double trailer instead!!
Re tow bar I got mine for £300 fitted with electrics at Ayr trailer centre, it is a Thule one who make the detachable one for landrover, I dare say local trailer dealers through there will be able to do a similar price (much cheaper than the £700 from LR)
I've just got myself a kx450, where do you ride yours?
Cheers

Hi elliot,
Not many near here, there is one in dalry, but tend to go to drumclog, I fancy going to tinto as they have a large enduro loop, but the place is never open!

Cheers

u just need the electrics if your sport doesn't have them already, indespension will sort you out, they are just off london road in Edinburgh .

LR removal tow balls are on ebay for 100-150 if your lucky and your RSR is set up to take it, plus the tool kit holder in the boot has a nice cut out made for it when its not in use

Im after a quad trailer if anyone local comes across one Thumbs Up

The amount of research I did before getting mine was exhausting!!
Dave Cooper trailers do quad specific ones for about £370, but they are just powder coated steel the other thing is that delivery can be expensive as they are bulky, which is why I searched for one I could build from flat pack. Most second hand ones tend to be down south, even going to Carlisle will add a hundred on to the cost of a used one in diesel.
The one I have can convert to take quads, and tips for easy loading, it also stores upright in the garage.
I had thought about buying a flat bed trailer but again these are pretty expensive, and mine is gross weight of 500kg, so will fabricate a "bin" to sit on the chassis for moving rubbish. Some trailers come up on the mxtrax forum, but usually they are sold with the bike!
