RRS TDV8 HST (2008) - putting the car in reverse the wing mirrors hunt around various positions and don't go to the pre set dipped position as before, they just keep moving about. The drivers seat memory has stopped working and when putting the car in park and taking the key out the seat doesn't move back as it did before.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I was wondering about doing a hard reset of all the settings but can't find the thread pointing to how to do it. Would this be worth a go and if so could someone please point me to the thread describing it if possible.

Edit - Forgot to mention that there is also a ticking noise coming from under the drivers seat since this all started

you will need to have a good look, sou ds like something has come loose and the seat isnt sure what position it is in, it works on a screw thread so could be stripped or detached , or stuck

Have you changed to your spare key recently
