2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Engine Management Light on dash

Hey guys,

Driving my RRS tonight and the engine management light come on...The cars running fine but i'm the type of person who cant see a light on my dash...its an ocd thing.

has anyone had a similar problem...any advice will be appreciated.

could be 101 things mate, unless its telling you the fault on start up suggest you get it into the dealer at your soonest

quick and cheap way to have a see whats going on, not 100% but I have one and it worked a treat.

Where does this plug in and apart from giving fault codes does it also say what the fault is

not sure where your diag plug is mines under my right knee drivers side, it will give you a code and the software will explain what it is, and maybe able to clear it, if not the code is easy to find on t'internet.

2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Same happened to me a couple of weeks ago, was the EGR valve, replaced under warranty otherwise a £420 fix. The dealer did say the other one would probably go in a few weeks 2019 BMW X3 2.0i M Sport in metalic black- Brilliant
2014 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Atlantic Grey, replaced with 2018 Frost White Outlander PHEV, can't fault em - now gone

when had mine replaced,other one went in less than a week

lucky for me my aa warranty picked up bill on both times minus £35 excess
