Where (or by whom) did you have it inspected ? Proud owner of a 2008 TDV8 HSE.....and an Audi A3 2.0T DSG Cab and a Porsche 911 Turbo (Mercedes W208 320 CLK and Mercedes W124 E220 Estate now gone) |

thats a pretty diligent check on a used car mate good shout, I've never really went to those lengths however. I've found that I usually get a gut feel about a car from its owners story and a check on the main things, engine, steering, wheels, tyres, brakes, exhausts and electrical items |

Couldn't agree more with a gut feeling. That's usually my indicator to buy.

Thanks for the feedback. I always like to get my cars inspected, usually by a reputable specialist garage near the seller but this is not always possible. I have used the AA once but wasn't impressed with the level or depth of the inspection carried out so a little put off by them.
