Was going to say make sure when you leave the car you activate the valet lock.
Its simple and can save you lots of grief from unwanted visitors to your house whilst your away.
Go to the home screen and hit the valet button, enter 4 digit code you will notice it locks out your console. so no one can get your address or past visited info or even use the radio or cd player. There less inclined to want to spend time in your car watching the TV round the corner from the car park then.

Also remember that this lock the boot as well...The first time I used valet button, when I got my car back, it took me 10mins to figure out why the boot wouldn't unlock!!!

Great info Thumbs Up
Have seen 'Valet' on the screen but hadn't delved into the manual to see what it meant Whistle ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

On my last LRE the guy was trying to get me to believe that the valet button when pressed you get a chap who comes out and washes your car for you, knows were you are via the satnav Rolling Eyes

I just let him waffle on and said or you could press it enter the code and stop the chap at the airport parking from using your satnav to find were you live Laughing
