Park brake fault

Hi all,
bought my first tdv8 07 plate just over a month ago loving it until this morning, pushed the button down and apart from the warning triangle nothing happened, handbrake stuck on, when it finally come off made a groaning noise scared to put it back on, is it a sticky caliper? any help would be great
Cheers Daren

England 2011 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black

There are loads of posts on the handbrake or park brake. But you can sort it out yourself if your handy with a spanner but if not then it's a dealer job or inde. But do a search on here and you will find loads. Thumbs Up MY11 Autobiography supercharged. Santorini Black. Monaco interior. Rear screens. Privacy.
Gone MY08 Supercharged HST. Java black. Ivory premium interior. Rear screens. Privacy. Missed a lot.
Gone MY04 Discovery V8 Petrol ES Premium. Awesome.

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Mine went about 18 months ago, every time I put it on it sounded like someone was killing a cat in the boot. Don't know about a self fix mate but I had to get a new EPB unit still under warranty at the time so no idea of price. Its a well known fault on here, try searching DISCO3.co.uk also for info.

United Kingdom

mine sounded more like a Transformer tearing the drive shaft in two (slowly Shocked ) - either way it was a warranty job fixed by TH White Thumbs Up .

As already mentioned best use 'park' for now and get it fixed asap.
