As I'm taking Miss Fresh to Barbados for Christmas I've managed to wangle a boys trip to Las Vegas in January Mr. Green Mr. Green

Any must do's/see's? other than the obvious.....

Thinking of the Bellagio as a hotel unless its over-rated?
Thumbs Up

Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Santorini Black

only been in they foyer of bellagio, but that was something else (as they all are!!) go to sleep for the day and only go out on the strip at night, you know how depressing blackpool looks without its lights!!
i made the mistake of booking before we arrived using the billboard ads along the road, and plumped for circus circus, cos id once seen it in a film! big mistake!! i paid $25 8 years ago, so you can work out how bad it is!
would love to go back, the place blows your mind and im not a gambler!!
cheers

eat at the top of the world resteraunt in stratosphere best lobster ive ever tried!
eat at the outback steakhouse... they do pint bottles of corona!!!! Thumbs Up
go to freemont street just amazing!
shoot a gun at the gun ranges or a rocket launcher in the desert if thats more your thing.
get a tattoo
get drunk lots,
shop at the outlet malls and forum shiops at ceasars palace.
eat at hooters,
strip joints are nothing like the u.k and thats all im saying lol.

in my honest opinion dont stay bang on the strip unless you want to go lavish. if you do want the strip go to hard rock as its brilliant.

last few times ive been i ve stayed at terribles ( its about 5 mins in a taxi from the strip) clean tidy and very good service. wouldnt stay anywhere else now.

you will love it.
if a doctor told me i had 7 days to live...... thats where i would spend them

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Bonatti Grey

Went back at the end of March with the Mrs and a group of mates, heading out there again this April with the lads. Very Happy

Amazing place and can't wait to get back there.

We stayed at the Bellagio and I would recommend to anyone. Really Really enjoyed it there, very lavish without being ridiculously OTT. Caesars Palace looked awesome as well but honestly you could get lost in there for days on end! Was just too big!

My must do list would be;

Helicpter over the Hoover Dam and landing in the Grand Canyon, we did a champagne lunch in the canyon and really glad we paid the extra, was awesome to stand there glass of bubbly in hand looking round at the walls of the canyon!

Stratosphere, if you don’t like heights don’t bother! We went on the rides at the top, again seriously once in a lifetime stuff!

Freemont street just for a wander, i wasn’t too taken by it myself but it has all the old vegas landmarks (waving cowboy etc) Also it’s cheaper to gamble here (stakes are less) i’m not a massive gambler so could enjoy it more at the hotels here (Golden Nugget etc) rather than the big ones up town.

Taxi to the Vegas sign, can’t go and not get that photo!!

Pool bar in either the Wynn or Encore (side by side) cant remember which one it was in but cant really miss the signs

Breakfast at Hash House a Go Go, its labelled ‘twisted farm food’ compared to the $45-$50 all you can eat hotel breakfasts it was the best an BIGGEST i had! In the Imperial Hotel.

Hooters Hotel for a good perv although not a lot else.

Gondola in the Venetian, or even just a look around.

Rollercoaster round the New York New York, was one of the best things i did, absolutely hilarious!

Writing this has made me desperate for April to hurry up and come round!
Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Thumbs Up Range Rover Sport HSE and for a bit of weekend fun a S1 Lotus Elise with a few track biased additions!
