Hi James, what is the average wait time for a 4 door Dynamic off yourself mate? Most likely in black or metallic grey

Sadly we've got a bit of a lead time at the moment. By my calculations the last of the orders we are holding will be ordered for July production, meaning Aug/Sept delivery. Other dealers may offer a shorter timescale, however it's best to get written commitment as opposed to taking an optimistic individuals word for it.

+1 .... I think the Pure's make sense but i can't imagine ever spending so close to RRS Money on an evoque.

Obviously a lot of people can due to the lead times......plus it isn't close to RRS money, this is a top end Evoque.......a top end RRS is more like £75K

You can spec a 3 series up to more than a basic 5 series cost but they both still sell

Personally I would rather have a fully loaded top end Evoque than say a RRS 'S' spec if they still existed

I have to admit that I had no idea the Evoque was so expensive, it makes my RRS seem a bit of a bargain and I never thought I would hear myself say that  12MY RRS Orkney Grey HSE Lux

For me the Evoque, fills the brand divide, if I wanted to up the stakes on that front

For top end LAND ROVER FL2 money (£40k) you could get a nicely spec'ed RANGE ROVER Evoque

The more upmarket branding and maintain the FL2 fuel economy in doing so, I would love to swap to a RRS next but it would have to be 2nd hand and the mpg would plumet too, which i can't justify it the times of rip of diesel in britain.

It also fills, as does the RRS,D4, the upgraded interior design the FL2 is lacking at the moment

I have to admit I see it as a girly car, so much so I am considering one for Miss Fresh..........I'd be interested to hear ratios of male/female purchasers

Have you tried buying a full tank of fuel lately?

My local garage does a similar deal, with every full tank of fuel, you get a RRS  10 RRS HSE TDV8 --- No complaints so far
57 RRS HSE TDV8 --- Great Car. Heated Windscreen & Brake Module both replaced under warranty.
10 months great driving, before I couldn't do without the new interior

@ Jonny - My RRS was, give or take a few £'s, only £6,000 more than this Evoque. I say 'only' as thats about 11% more. IMHO you get more for your money on the RRS at that point, Its nice to have the top of the range model for sure, but I don't think people are going to credit the car being worth just shy of £50k. I think around the £40k mark its perfectly positioned and will sell very well (and clearly is by the lead times).

I wonder how many Evoques LPR has sold at this spec/price compared to the lower priced varients

Re your point about girly car, Mrs Beancounter informs me that she has seen 3 on the school run that are all wives' cars. I think it really is a great car, but I think the ratio of Men : women owners will be around 1:5... ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
