Overfinch Tigers vs. Kahn RSX

I'm considering swapping my Tigers for some 22" RSX off Martin @ Kahn...........

I think they look great:

a) Am I right
b) What could I get for my Genuine OF Tigers with Toyo Proxes, mint condition, 12K miles........£1700?

RSX

Thumbs Up

Tigers have been about forever, I'm sure I read somewhere that Noah had a pair of them on his arc back in the day Laughing In my eyes the look pretty dated now but I cant deny that they do work on a RRS, sadly the demand isn't there anymore and as a result you can get a set of genuine wheels with tyres on ebay for under £1000 now.

Kahns look good and they would be my choice of the two sets but you will need to be realistic over your asking price on the tigers.

I like the rsx wheels but reading a few posts previously regarding quality i would be asking martin what tests are done on their wheels and are they tuv approved like overfinch are, and how strong are they? But i wouldn't want a wheel that has kahn stamped on it.

morning chaps.

1stly that pic is of the rs and not the rsx wheel that you posted jonny,

the RSX is a tuv approved wheel and i will happily supply the certificate upon sale no bother.

the RSX is a strong wheel but unfortunately its not indestructable as with most wheels and when combined with our roads.....
they are warrantied for 12months as well.

I've had a few sets of Kahn wheels over the years and the quality is no worse than any other 22" wheel. When u stick a 35 profile tyre on a 22" wheel, with the weight of a Range Rover Sport on top if it then hit a pothole its going to affect it. I split 2 gen Overfinch wheels 2 years ago on a pot hole in glasgow. Hence why i run 20's now as the roads around my way will ruin any 22".
