Hi all,

Have searched both here and the disco forum but can't find anything on this.

My supercharged sport blows only luke warm air from the passenger side whilst the drivers side on the same settings is very hot.

Have downloaded the section for heating from topix, the heating system appears to be very simple.

Has been to the dealers a few times, I asked them to change the blend motor, made no difference.

The air gets a little warmer if I put the ac into econ as you would expect.


To me this leaves only a Few options

1 partially blocked heater matrix (note its shared for left and right)
2 faulty controller - no dtc are showing
3 faulty temp sensor - told there is only one for whole cabin
4 solar sensor???
5 the flap that diverts the air via the heater coil isn't moving (should bring a dtc)


Any ideas would be appreciated Labour of love

i had the same issue on my old RRS, and it's the same on the new one!

adjusting the passenger dial makes the far right vent change temperature, adjusting the driver dial makes the far left vent change temperature!

on the old car you could do a trick (thanks Bobby) that would flash a response to let you know if the system was working or not - like a self test that reported an error code. Not sure if you can do this on the newer model?

Bobby knows, but on pre-MY10 it's something like hold both heater buttons down when turning the ignition on. If you search this forum, and my posts from a long time ago, all is revealed and, if I remember correctly, a diagram. It's something like "climate control self check". ============
