MY2012 RRS Autobiography

wow, been a super long day, but it's finally here! sorry i don't have many pics, but i'm a bit exhausted to bust out the DSLR at this hour! but here she is:

will probably have more time this weekend to snap more details.

overall, the truck is pretty awesome in-person. i've got to say it's really addicting to sit so high up coming from an M3. it really doesn't look that big until you're up next to a couple of the other larger SUVs out there. thats when you realize how big the truck truly is!

Awesome, looks just like mine.......one question, do you not need a number (license) plate on the front legally in the US?

Looks much better without one

legally, yes you do, but all dealership in California will let you sign a waiver form saying you'll put it on when it comes. i.e. you're setting yourself up for a fix-it ticket ($200 US ticket that can get reduced to $10 US if you fix the issue and get an officer to sign it off)

i went down to the garage 6 times tonight for various 'reasons.' the girlfriend was laughing at my countless excuses to get down there and see the car. i love that there's the option to turn off the seatbelt warning!

I've had my SDV6 for just over 4 weeks and every time I get in and drive it, I absolutley love it.

Noticed that it's got a gearbox lever rather than a dial - I thought the dial was standard on MY2012?

@ Supacat - the Supercharged still kept the 6 speed box with the existing stick shifter. The SDV6's got the rotary dial shifter and 8 speed box ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
