I would perhaps find someone on here who wants to go the other way (non-privacy to privacy) and do a swap, rather than ordering new glass from LR and trying to sell the old. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support! |

Thanks - I hadn't really considered that but yes, that's a good idea.

I didn't really want it either but my privacy glass is very very light and I am actually staring to like it!! |

Does it come in different shades of 'dark'?

Depends when and where fitted. After Market tints ie film can be applied in several different shades.

If it was an aftermarket 'film' then I could simply have it removed. I was talking more about LR factory fitted privacy glass where the tint is 'in' the glass itself and therefore non removable. |

I'm glad I'm not the only one who dislikes privacy glass and sidesteps on an RRS (or any RR for that matter). To my eyes just so Gangsta (sidesteps excluded, purely aesthetics) but, maybe, I'm just getting old... |

I've just bought a RRS without tints or running roared and think it looks weird. |

Most people prefer privacy so you will not have any trouble doing a swap......you will still have the cost of removal and installation though which I would think could be the bulk of the £1600...............I'd persevere and find one without the privacy, steps not a problem as you can remove those and sell them on here. |

Totally agree, or find one that has had aftermarket tinits thus allowing you to remove the film. Chances of someone who wants to tint their windows going to the expense of removing all the glass and taking the Car off the road whilst the swap takes place I would say isn't going to happen. For example Mine is tinited next week for 200 quid |

I hate the look of the sidesteps. The silver at the side makes them look very bulky which, in my opinion clashes with the strips at the bottom of the door making the whole thing look rubbish. |
