Is it Possible to Turn Off the Sat Nav Screen

Hi, Newbie here so hope this is posted in the right area> Had my RRsport (09 HSE 2.7) for just sbout 6 weeks and after looking through the manual cant see that it is possible to turn off the SatNav screen if not required. Had my first long distance night run last week and found the light from the screen very annoying.

Again Thanks. Not sure if I should start another thread, but is there a way of getting the key fob boot(hatch) unlock to open the whole tailgate rather than just the glass opening. I am sure when I first got the car it opened the whole thing but I have probably inadvertently reset something and now only opens the top part. The Manual is not much help !!

There is a thread on here somewhere saying how this can be done I think.
Something to do with holding the button down whilst opening which ever option you'd like it to do.
I'll see if I can find it.

Edit: Here it is, seems to relate to the extra button. Do you have that on your 2009 ?
