I know why you may think this - I didn't use my paddles for a few months... but now I use them once a week (although in the Jag I used them almost every day). Useful for down shifting, teeing up for an overtake, and if you run in dynamic response & sports mode, the paddles do let you be a bit of thug even in the so-called-slow TDV6... not that you'd do that in an Autobiog. Point is I think for £200 or so they are worth it, but frankly they should be standard - they;re only a couple of wires, 2 springs, and 2 bits of plastic! L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso RRS TDV6 HSE Lux (MY2011)... Nara Bronze / Arabica - now gone! |

When I borrowed an AB the other week I kept touching them by mistake and ended up wondering why it was tuck in gear and didn't change up. MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.

See your AB is due in September. Have you had to change to Sumatra black as my AB is due end September and I have been told Santorini is to be replaced by Sumatra. Never seen the colour but hope it's ok. |
