19" on HSE

Good evening.

I've got the chance to have a new MY12 RRS HSE but it's coming with the 19" 5-V "off road" alloy. Anybody else got these? Not seen the car in the flesh and can't find a picture of a car in the colour (Orkney) with them. Am I right in thinking that the 19" will give a slightly improved ride? Just concerned about the cosmetics. Plus point is that it comes with a full size spare.

Cheers

2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Hi,
Is the car brand new? Reason I ask is that approx 8 ex- Land Rover experience cars have hit the main dealers over the last couple of months, all on 19" wheels. Nearly had the unfortunate experience of buying one until I noticed it had a couple of the more unusual options and asked them to inspect the underside, they reoprted back the damage to me and I decided to give it a miss.
Jon

Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Santorini Black

HSE comes with 20" as standard, only SE had option of two types of 19s (I went for v spokes on my SE and changed to 20s on delivery and sold the 19s with zero milage
Sounds like someone has swapped wheels with an SE for some reason!
Cheers

ride is better than 20" from my limited experience...

a set of 20" HSE should not be too hard to pick up if you find it a real problem.

saw an orkney grey autobiography today and it looked stunning

Thanks, but they are shown on the quote as a " no cost option" and are shown on the latest update on the website as the same, so I'm guessing they were genuinely chosen for the car for some reason. Just wondering why!

Thank you. That's brilliant. Your car looks lovely. That is the exact wheel. The wheels certainly aren't a deal breaker, more I was wondering why that had been built onto this particular car.

I got it wrong! The 19" on the quote refers to the spare! the wheels are a standard 20". You can spec the HSE with the 19" Off Road wheel as a no cost spare if you want to though.

Thanks for the replies.
