2011 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black

Well the long and short of it that the fuel is cheap in Dubai however it has gone up about 30% over the last 12 months (still expensive compared to Kuwait or Saudi)

Anyhow - I went to the petrol station last night and 69 liters of 98RON cost 127aed or 21.52 sterling. So that is about 31 pence a litre. The regular 95RON is about 26pence a litre.

The good news about all of this is that my company cover fuel costs without any tax implications.... http://englishmanindubai.com

Lovely motor though.... are the front lights colour coded? Or is that just a trick of the light

There is a black headliner on the lights as standard - but the light is a little tricky in the photo. Kind of makes it looks moody at night. I like it! http://englishmanindubai.com

Ronski you got a spare room and looking for a lodger? £21.50 to fill. Big Cry OMG! It normally costs me £95. It's only for pleasure for me. I don't use mine for work so I don't mind. Thumbs Up

2011 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black

After reading these forums a lot I ended up at the parts center today the following is now on order:

Bright Finish Mirror caps
Rear Bumper Tread Plate - stainless steel
Load Space rubber mat

and

a set of four 20 inch 5-Spoke Diamond Turned Alloy Wheels - Style 7

I am really not convinced by the standard wheels on the 2012 sport and as I get cancelled order it was not possible to change them. Fortunately the guy at the parts department reckons he can easily sell them

Looks like I can get back about 60-65% of the cost of the new wheels not toooo bad. Should have all the work done by the end of next week.

Will post up some pics in its new boots. http://englishmanindubai.com

1) It's around 17p/litre here in Bahrain! Twisted Evil

2) Lovely car! Especially the new software for the entertainment/satnav etc, and FINALLY power tailgate (however if memory serves you still have to go to the back to close it?!). Also the key fob is now slightly different...

3) Hope you demanded to remove all the plastic inside immediately i.e. unlike the locals!

Thanks RRRS - I knew I was getting ripped off for fuel in Dubai compared to the rest of the GCC. It is intoxicating at full chat that means the first 1300kms and I have been to the gas station six times already.

Yes - I was very clear to the dealer that no plastic was to be seen on delivery. I had to laugh when I was collecting the car that was a british expat busy pulling all the plastic off his new LR4 http://englishmanindubai.com

Been away on business for a little while. Here is RRS SC with the new wheel and new mirror caps. It was the first 2012 RRS that the dealer had in - so it had a couple of minor recalls performed. I am really pleased with it:
