Does the new model ( with the new tailgate ) not have the new gear rotational dial?

NickM you can see the gear stick in the bottom pic. So it's a MY11. But one hell of a sport. Enjoy my friend.

Opps I'm wrong. The supercharged does have a gear stick. Was told by a dealer the engine is to powerful for the 8 speed box so it is a MY12. Sorry mate.

@TDV8HST - thanks mate. Have to admit I was initially unsure about the interior choice but I love it now

@Naz - thank you! I didn't get much choice on the spec as the dealer in Dubai orders all cars "full" and you can chose the exterior/interior combos. I was lucky that a Black/Tan one was available for the shipment that came into country this week.

@NickM - the 5.0l Supercharged engine still comes with the 6 speed shifter. Sadly no 8 gear rotational dial for this engine at the moment http://englishmanindubai.com

Ronski, personally I think you are better off with the gear stick...I have a few clients who have the new one and don't like it on their HSE's...so count yourself lucky

I agree - I like the feel of the stick, nice and positive and easy to shift without looking at it.

I have to confess to liking the new dial shift in mine, but what a perfect combination, a supercharged RRS and petrol prices low enough to drive around like you've stolen it  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

It is a beast the 5.0 supercharged so many happy miles. So what is the price of fuel where you are mate. Heard it's very cheep. Be gentle with us ronski.

Interesting that the 8-speed box is man enough for the 4.4 TDV8 but not the supercharged..

Lovely motor though.... are the front lights colour coded? Or is that just a trick of the light RRS gone

That's what I was told by a dealer (Yeovil). But I saw a XKR which has the same supercharged engine as the sport and it had the 8 speed gearbox with the dial. So guess we better wait for bobby to put us rite.
