Agreed. Don't see the point of 22s TBH...but each to his own ![]() 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

Well I took the plunge and have just bought 4 Vred Wintracs from AJS for the new motor. Get 'em while you can!!

I had the Wintracs fitted today; there seems to be quite a difference in grip, and they feel much more sticky than the Conti's with quite a noticeable pull to the left when giving it max thrust. All balanced nicely now so no more shimmy through the steering.

Hi, what pressures are people running their winter tyres at - specifically Wintracs. I've had mine at the pressures shown on the door panel +2psi but looking on Vredestein's website, they suggest (for 255/50/19) 45psi/49psi F/R which is much more than I'm currently running.

Interesting point rrstdv8; when i had my wintracs fitted the garage mechanic said he thought the tyres seemed a bit underinflated but that he'd put in the recommended pressure. I'll have to check what he pumped them up to and post back. |
