RRS TDV8 Upper Tailgate Wont Open with Switch on tailgate

Anyone encountered a problem with upper rear tailgate hatch wont open on RRS TDV8 57 plate??

Quite a common problem. The switch gets wet and corrodes then doesn't work any more and it's worse when it gets wet from rain spray or a good wash. . Mine was just replaced under my LR extended warranty.

Anyone now or have the source for the part number for the Upper Rear Tailgate switch on RRS TDV8 57 plate.

http://lrparts.net.ru/ (online microcat) under the body & paint work section there is a section for all locks

found FQR500170 as a latch for the tailgate glass, google says £38 +vat
