United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Siberian Silver
Replacement windscreen for 2008 Range Rover Sport.

Morning everyone,

I am after a replacement windscreen for my 2008 Range Rover Sport.

I have tried places like breakersweb.co.uk and breakerlink.com for a cheap one but does anyone else have an idea?

I know I can get one new for £400 but I'd rather spend less!

Thanks,

Jon

does your insurance not cover it? thought most had it included these days MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged Wink ), Santorini Black, Flappy paddles, Privacy Glass, 20" Stormers, Mudflaps!

Gone: a comprehensive list of imprezas and a Merc ML AMG

Thought the screens were about £800 or there abouts. Unless your one is not heated?

Insurance does cover things like screens, it does not affect your NCB but it does increase your yearly premium.
Insurance hide behind NCD, giving the myth that if that is not impacted, neither is the renewal.
sometimes can work out cheaper not to claim in the long run.

I have had a new windscreen fitted on 2 occasions. Neither caused an increase in premium as far as I can tell.

As windscreens are a key structural item in many cars these days, I'd rather just get Autoglass (or whoever) to do it properly with a new screen. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

It shouldn't affect you premium and i have never had to "report" a replacement screen under the claims section Mike
