Thats good of you to admit it Mr H Laughing
Lets be honest here though, car parking spaces are hardly big enough for your average family car let alone a RRS Mr. Green

Clearly your opinion is far greater than mine......however your opinion is simply that, just like mine is mine.
Sorry if you don't like mine but I am making it from down at ground level, no lofty heights required!

We all worry about getting our cars keys by others and stunts like this only encourage others to do it, worse still it makes the keying scum stereo-type us....so anything stupid you do rubs off on the rest of us!

Oh and sorry if you don't like my opinions.......lifes a bitch!

Have you noticed that no matter where you park your car (middle of an empty car park for example) you will return to find some twonk has parked next to you? I head for the furthest parking spot from the doors of the Supermarket and yes, there will soon be cars on either side of mine with loads of spaces available. I recently enquired politely of a lady who was struggling to get her car parallel with mine (even though she could have sailed into the many adjacent empty bays) as to why she chose that particular spot. The answer, which left me completely flumoxed, was she had been told to always park next to an expensive car as thieves will chose it rather than hers. Claims she had never been broken into and vandalised and all her friends did the same Big Cry '10 Range Rover Sport TDV8

I hate it when people park taking two spaces up it's very ignorant and really attracts the wrong attention to the car when it's left unattended.....on the plus side if I'm in my works van and see someone parked like a Censored in two spaces il squeeze my van in the little space they've left us and let them struggle getting back in! Ha ha, there is a lot to be said about that, but I used to do it for the reason that if you park next to another nice/more expensive car , then you were less likely to get a door ding as the owner is more likely to care!
I also think parking in two spaces is selfish, but don't get hung up about it, in multi storys I tend to park next to pillars, which allows me to park closely to them and give plenty space to open door.
I have had door dings repaired twice that cost £800 due to being along a swage line and not been able to fix by dent devils!
Cheers

Nobody, but nobody parks next to a Defender that is covered with mud, so get your RRS covered with mud and then park in the middle of the car park and come back to find an empty slot on either side.................... people hate getting their clothes dirty as they squeeze out of their closely parked car! Whacking great rock/ tree sliders as steps on the sills also covered with bits of countryside helps too. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Ha...ha love this story!!

You should've told her that she was quite right! And as a car thieve you was about to change all that for her as soon as she was out of sight! Then closed your window! Whistle Cheers Laurence.

I love to find people that park like that so I can get as close to them as possible for a laugh, even if they are in a quiet part of the carpark........sorry it just winds me up and looks arrogant!

Agree. And you're asking for a keying

Riiiiiiight!!!.....So you are one of the lunies, thinking it is ok to damage other mens car over a parking spot.

Censored

I don't think Jonny Fresh meant HE would key a car! Rolling Eyes I think he was meaning that by parking in such an arrogant and incosiderate way the guy is setting himself up as a target for the sods that do that kind of thing!......Oh & he's correct.

Exactly! Rolling Eyes that's for clarifying Endjin. Of course I would not do it. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was done to me parking like that.

I also try to park next to decent or new cars thinking the owner of that car will care about theirs enough to not hit mine.

Never park next to a car with a dent etc as it could have just happened and they might think it was you!

Always try to park next to newish or nice cars
Thumbs Up

Or park like my Mrs - as close as possible to the shop entrance - regardless of the size of the space or who/what is next to her Evil or Very Mad

Or if I'm driving she moans a bucketful as I make my way to the rear of the park to find a favourable spot. Walking 100 yards seems too be to much for her yet she will go to exercise class in the evening.
