+1
Really gets on my nerves when people park like that. Yes I am lucky enough to have a nice big car, but that doesn't give me the right to act like an arrogant twit towards other drivers. Judging by your picture Mr H you could have easily chosen to park in the end space which would have meant you could have parked right up to the line on the right hand side perfectly legally which would still have left a good gap between the left of your car
and anyone that then parked in the space next to you. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

having a car wider than the RRS Whistle , i find a spot i can park in without going over the lines, or wait until one comes available.

obviously having kids in the car helps with wider spaces been provided

That kind of parking really does my tits in I'm afraid. I think it also makes your car much more likely to be vandalised by someone who can't get parked.

+1 - it gives someone 'justification' to key it (in their crazy way of thinking) ============

Drive around in many multi-storey carparks and you will find that the slots adjacent to the doors to the emergency stairs are approx 1.75 - 2 x the width of an RRS. I now know where in all the local multi storey's, the emergency door slots are and use them even if it means going right up to the highest levels of the car park 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

the other option is to just get into the mindset that you accept something will happen to your car? that's what I (try) and do, then when the inevitable prang/scratch/dent/scuff happens I get less angry and get a number of them fixed at once? believe me, the benefit of being relaxed 99.9% of the time when parking etc and only angry 0.1% of the time, out weighs being worried and fretting 100% of the time and STILL getting a prang/dent/scratch and being 10 times more angry!

Thumbs Up ============

I don't think Jonny Fresh meant HE would key a car! Rolling Eyes I think he was meaning that by parking in such an arrogant and incosiderate way the guy is setting himself up as a target for the sods that do that kind of thing!......Oh & he's correct. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black
