The mrs got a parking ticket in Leeds for parking slightly over the box, she complained saying that she was forced to park like that as the next driver had done same, finally got the ticket cancelled after much argument with the guy in the car park office, that was when she had a mini

Nothing wrong with that parking there Mr H, you should see how me and foxy park in a carpark when we park side by side, i'm sure she has some pics somewhere

It has to be done I had a 535d bmw and ended coming back to my car with a big dent in passenger door it was a windy day some dick didn't think of holding door firmly with it being windy also had other dings were people are just thoughtless and dont care if they dent your door or not

Now when parking i do the same or try to park in a end spot so passenger side cant be damaged.

Its not fair people not giving a way of the world i suppose.

No problem with that parking. So long as you buy two tickets...

Really me off to find an otherwise full car park and then some clot sat in two spaces so I can't park.

Lots/most Local Authorities will ticket you for that in their car parks, by the way. Usually have a bit of text on the ticket machine saying words to the effect of "park in one bay or buy two tickets". And you'll find it increasingly difficult to persuade them to overturn the ticket. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I do it sometimes but only when the parking is half empty. Otherwise someone would most definitely key the car. Vadim A.

You just reminded me of an incident when I lived in London 4 yrs ago....
On residents parking and someone left a note saying can you move yr car to the end of the line..... went outside took the note and tried to move the car but it had a flat battery.... called the AA and went into my flat to wait ...... by the time they arrived all three panels on the kerb side had been deeply keyed.....

Sorry have to disagree just cause someone can't afford a rrs doesn't mean they don't love there car as much as you! Yes it really me of when inconsiderate t S dent and scratch your car but there's nothing more frustrating than trying to find a parking space and somebody then thinks they can take two spaces. That kind of parking really does my tits in I'm afraid. I think it also makes your car much more likely to be vandalised by someone who can't get parked.

But even if I bought two tickets......and the car park was otherwise full......you still wouldn't be able to park, so i can't follow the logic there, but I think i get the point Have i got the busted controller?!?!!?

I love to find people that park like that so I can get as close to them as possible for a laugh, even if they are in a quiet part of the carpark........sorry it just winds me up and looks arrogant!
