shuts of fuel and kill the power from battery in 3 seconds . does not lock doors had it fitted by our racing team . does not kill as quick a petrol engines but does the same job good job i was only in the office at the time . the police said they have coding keys that can fit any car and start it in seconds , why cant we have anything now a days . i can remember when you could leave you car unlocked and go shopping and i was still ther when you got back this is the kids of today ![]() BLACK FULL BODY KIT 22" ALLOYS DOTTS 377 BHP EBONY LEATHER SMOKED WINDOWS TV / DVD FRIDGE |

its a good idea, until they find a dead engine and no power when they are pulling out in front of a mums car taking the kids out of the day and end up lodged in the side of your car

I think you are reading in to it a bit too much there mate. There are hundreds of scenarios that that could happen with ie someone nicks it with no diesel in and it cuts out at a junction, could it be proven you purposely left it without diesel in in case it got stolen and then get sued? I think it's a cracking idea, luckily crime is quite low where I live and is why I love it ![]() I'd get this if it was legal............. |

As modern cars become more and more difficult to steal thieves are resorting to more violent/ smart means of obtaining the keys. Apparrently there are now transponders being used to capture keyless entry signals and also GPS jammers that are used to confuse satellite tracking devices............ 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Bobby might be able to provide the more technical explanation but the code tumbler between key and car is pretty solid, I believe still to be compromised. Capturing the transmission between fob and car used to be done when it was infrared or basic radio spurt, but I don't believe this has been compromised yet? The latest trick is jamming the lock signal as someone walks away from the car - this obviously leaving it open to theft of contents but not the car itself. This is tricky to fall for in the latest RRS as the mirrors fold when the doors are locked i.e. you would notice that the car hadn't locked. GPS blocking devices are really common now, even plug into the cigarette lighter socket to block the tracker signal. Really clever trackers use GPS, GSM (phone) and radio 'homing signal' and although each of these can be jammed/blocked you have to be a smart cookie to do so successfully and at all times e.g. even when ignition is off as the trackers have battery backup. Driving into a shipping container used to be the method of choice.

Sunday Times did an item about 6 months ago regarding how scumbags overcome the keyless entry - one guy follows the car owner capturing the continuous transmissions from the key fob with a signal retransmitter in his pocket. Second guy stands close to the car and has another retransmitter that bounces the signal from scumbag one into the receivers for the keyless entry and the car opens. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
