Sidesteps

As with most sidesteps I have seen the metal trim goes reallly nasty, any advice on getting them off and what to paint them with.

they are anodized silver you need to send back to an anodizing company to re anodizing , try mansfield anodizers V8 HSE CRUSADER 2008

Mine were pretty naff when I got them, but I read on here about wire wool and Brasso.

Worked a treat!
