Tow bar recommendations

I am intending to buy either an early RRS or a D3 and one of its main roles will be to tow my rally car around the country. Unlike the D3, not many RRS of the vintage I am considering seem to be fitted with tow bars. Can you recommend a tow bar/fitter in the Hampshire area? Any advice appreciated, together with expected costs. Thanks

I believe all RRS have the tow bar attachment point as standard. It's hidden behind a flap in the rear bumper. You just slot the tow hitch in to the attachment fitting. Or do you mean the electrics? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

As said, its already for a towbar. Get one off ebay as there's normally a fair few on there.
What you will probably need are the electrics adding, why they don't fit them in the factory is beyond me.

£130 at the stealers I bought mine from, still think they should come with the car rather than giving half a package.

The fixed multi height LR towbar could be more useful to allow different towball heights.

I got mine off ebay, it was around £300 for the removable hitch plus electrics. Fitted the electrics myself, took about 45 min, just plug and play, the fiddly bit was running the wiring neatly. As it has been said before the hitch receiver is already there that just slots straight in. LR Defender 90 - gone
RRS Supercharged HST - gone
Audi S3 Sportback Black Editiion - gone
RRS SDV6 - current

try pfjones in manchester, they will sell you the whole kit at reasonable prices. They sell the proper plug and play wiring loom.
