Getting a Land Rover warranty

Gents and Ladies

One of the main criteria when I purchase my used RRS is that I want it to have the LR warranty.

If I don't buy an approved used or from LR and either buy private or from an indy, how do I go about getting a LR warranty?

I assume it will have to have FLRSH?

Am not to familiar with LR but are there only one level of cover for the LR warranty?

Thanks in advance

The dealer will probably want to do a full service/checkover prior to offering a LR extended warranty.

It would also need to have a fully stamped up service book (maybe even fully franchised stamped)

Then they will want £800+ from your bank account Mr. Green

Thanks Awd

Is there a difference from fully franchised and a full LR service history, I had assumed it was the same.

So they inspect the car before offering it?

Looking to buy a supercharger 2005-2007 depending on specs.

"Is there a difference from fully franchised and a full LR service history"

Just be aware of clever wording. There are a lot of independent LR dealers out there who are not franchised dealers...and what you are effectively buying is a Franchised Dealer warranty.

So they inspect the car before offering it?

I'd be surprised if they didn't want to at least inspect it. There could be a major existing problem that could cost them £1000's in the 1st claim.

(for example, a new dynamic roll bar is £1k..and the symptom is a knock then vibration in the front suspension while changing direction...so not a "break down" as such.. but this would effectively write off the premium of the policy in one hit) RRS gone

Thanks Awd. Understand and will take on board.

I remember reading one of the threads and the purchaser wanted the Indy to arrange the LR before buying. Makes sense now.
