LR Warranty against Warranty Direct?

Just had my LR Warranty quote for 2006 HSE with £41k miles at £685 for Select Extended cover and Warranty Direct quote £695 for Extra Care & Franchise Dealer Labour rates.

WD came down from £875 initially. LR only offer £3k limit per claim but cannot see WD max limit in their paperwork although think it may be £5k? Will be checking this!

The wear & tear issue is important, of course but do any of you have views one way or the other?

I am tending towards Warranty Direct at the moment.

Appreciate your comments.

Check with WD, but I have a policy with them and it is annual claim limit up to value of the car. There is no individual claim limit (i.e. 1 claim per year of full value of car, or multiple claims through the year up to the value of the car).

I would say the LR warranty *may* have fewer issues in the long run, but my experience of WD has been excellent and I would recommend them.

I had WD extracare cover on mine, and they never faltered on paying for anything. Had over £3k of work done in 6 months alone.
Just be careful if you have the ARC system though as I believe they dont cover ARB's on their policies. Front replacement about £1400 and rear replacement is about £1800 !!!!!

I think LR warranty would cover that sort of item. Go and have a chat with your local LR dealer as I found out after I took WD warranty that LR have even changed lower front arms under warranty even though its a wear and tear item! 2007 RRS TDV8 Stornaway Grey with lots of smiles..
