Single chime when starting

Hi All,

Day 1 of owning a 2006 range rover sport! Can anyone advise if a single chime when starting is normal? It seems to coincide with all checks being completed after the ignition switch has been turned to II but no warnings are displayed?

Yes - as far as I am aware this is normal and the car telling you that all the system checks are complete and you can start the engine Very Happy 2011 Autobiography Santorini Black

I have an 06 Supercharged and mine chimes every time after the system checks complete. As it had just been serviced and does it everytime without fail I just assumed it was normal! LR Defender 90 - gone
