I was trying to find out who the previous owners of the car were as it states 4 previous owners but it has always been serviced at the same dealers, so was wonerding whether it was passed around a family rather than having 4 unique owners. Can this be done?

log book would only give you last owner, cant imagine the dealership would tell you if you bought it from them, could be someone on here but then again might not be. 2017 Range Rover Sport Autobiography

Years ago I know somebody who wrote to the DVLA enclosing a post paid letter for forwarding on to the previous owners of a car. That had another reply paid envelope in it along with the questions my friend wanted to know the answers to. He did eventually get a reply, much to my surprise but this was a long time ago.

Might not happen now with data protection and all that but I don't see why not. If the previous owner does get a letter they might not answer it and if it was a company car it might get lost in the system anyway.

For the cost of a few envelopes and stamps it might be worth a try, nothing to lose and all that.
