United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

It was registered Oct 05, so it's a 05 plate. I keep telling myself 'It's a toy'
But I've broken quite a lot of toys in my time.....

16k against an S5 from Audi and 17K against an M3 from BMW (both main dealers)

Top part ex offer I have had is against a 08plate S5 from a small local garage. I keep telling myself 'It's a toy'
But I've broken quite a lot of toys in my time.....

Hi merwiz,
did you try either of them for a price if no p/ex? Question
my net does not seem as wide now, seem to be closing in on a black hse, just the "far" bit to try and get rid of now Sad
Have priced up a N&S wiring harness from Duckworths £150 plus fitting, know the bars seem to be fetching near to £150 on here as well.. Porsche Cayenne 2022

Very good speaking with you Phil and your car seems like a very nice one. Shame you have decided to keep it but hopefully you will have a year or two of fun with it. I managed to find another one, I pick it up this Sunday. Thumbs Up

I think I’m going to list this on Autotrader as soon as it gets cold enough to spark interest in 4x4's again.

This will be the first time I’ve had to sell a car privately, as I’ve had company cars before.

Any tips for dealing with the public/buyers?? Shocked Shocked
And what does the forum think a sensible starting price would be?? Confused Confused I keep telling myself 'It's a toy'
But I've broken quite a lot of toys in my time.....

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver

I bought a Z4 from a private buyer 18 months ago....

The Gent who i bought the car off was excellent to deal with ... Cup of tea on arrival , discussion about why he'd bought the car 5 years before hand, test drive of the car with him driving all the service receipts and service history in a little file. Car was well presented and clean.

Told me what had gone wrong with me in its life and when it had been fixed.

Even picked me up from the railway station when i came down to pick it up.

On pick up he used the What Car reciept so that he and I both had a reciept of the transaction.

When I drove away from his place I thought if I ever sold a car private i would try and act in the same manner . 2011 MY- RRS HSE - Zermatt -Ebony-Piano .... its a monochrome world

2006- BMW Z4M Roadster -Titanium Silver

Club - Ex Defender & Disco 3

From being a member over on Disco 3 it seems people advertise on there first to avoid the tyre kickers etc.
I'm from over your way and looking at either a disco 3 or RRS.
I've tried to pm but I need 5 posts. Once this is reached I'll pm you.
Cheers
Thumbs Up

I had a similar experience when I bought my Audi. The guy even prepared a packed lunch for me and filled the car up with fuel. What a nice way to do business Thumbs Up
