Evoque Thanks to Lookers

I know I should post on the Evoque site, but TBH not that keen on the site itself, but I will eventually...

We went to the Lookers Evoque launch at West Wycombe on Sunday, and it was a perfect day out. James and his team couldn't do enough for us. Came along on test drives, took us out for off road course, lunch was tops and the clay pigeon shooting was an excellent surprise!!

So thanks James, and although we haven't ordered one yet, we are not far from doing so.
Thumbs Up

All Martin's sites have their own personality, but somehow the Evoque site seems non landrovery, let alone range rovery. Exclamation

Trying to buy a D4 at the weekend but all these Evoque owners kept getting in the way Whistle

Can you believe a 92% residual after 2 years?? Is that really possible?

Your making me feel like I got a bargin then.

Only 8 grand in 5 months with my Merc

Reckon residuals could be strong on these for first couple of years, RRS was very strong with its bold styling and the Evoque is not as expensive to run

Not perhaps as a GFV, I'm not sure, but traders guides, as demand is very strong for the next 18 months

I know a little what you mean ... although it was good that the dealership had 4 evoque models to look at ... i found it a little odd that the rest of the LR/RR range had been pushed out onto the lot.

I can't imagine bmw kicked all the 5&7 series out onto the used car lot when they launched the Mini. 2011 MY- RRS HSE - Zermatt -Ebony-Piano .... its a monochrome world

2006- BMW Z4M Roadster -Titanium Silver

Club - Ex Defender & Disco 3

Ouch, I had 2 years and 30,000 miles worth of fun with my HST and it only lost £5000 in value before I let Gilford have some fun with it!
I will look with interest to see what its worth in Jan 13 (almost 5 years old) with approx 60,000 miles on the clock.

In a word No.

I know this happened with the Mini when it came out, holding its price, but 92% after 2 years??

Can't see that.

So Nick you better change your'e "Never Shot" on the clay pigeon shooting thread then now you have been sneaking in practice. Whistle

i just noticed that part after reading it again, sneaky Nick the sharp shooter getting a bit of practice in Laughing

I have had a look today at the Evoque, 5 door, great looking and feeling car in the flesh, rear seats were huge compared to what i thought it would be like, the boot, about the same as i have got give or take a few cubic foot

went back and sat in the drivers chair, adjusted it and altered the rear view mirror, Oh My God its got a tiny rear window, it felt like i had filled my boot up in the FL2, and left a little gap 3/4 of the way up, if the entry level doesn't have pdc and camera your going to be in a bodyshop all the time

Not driven it on the road, but the FFRR in the background in the showroom nearly couldn't be seen, i don't know if i could spend that on a car and not see out the back
