front side window tint question

I've seen the pre cut front window tint kits on ebay for the sport for reasonable money. Its obviously to the legal requirments. I was just wondering if it is going to be much darker than the standard one's? Mine has the back and rear side windows done already wich is reasonably dark and just wanted to darken the fronts so it don't look like a van lol.

If you put those on the front it will not be legal.

75% light through the windscreen and 70% light through the side front windows to comply with uk law.

Anything less and the old bill will be pulling you over and tearing a strip off you before making you tear a strip off your tints Laughing Have i got the busted controller?!?!!?

If the glass is the same tint in natural form as my FL2 then it already allows 68% light through, so you'll need a tint of less than 2% to be legal, a clear anti smash film could alter it more than that

is illegal but looks better

most tint places will do front windows for £20-£30 per side

its not easy stuff to fit so I would just pay a professional

Not really because they normally spot the tints before the pull you.
Then you have the pleasure of peeling them off in front of the passing public.

As a motorcycle rider i hate front tints with a passion, not making eye contact with drivers at junctions puts the fear of god through me.
