United States 2009 Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE Santorini Black
Turning front rotors

My Sport only has 18k miles but I believe the rotors are warped from local stop and go driving. On U.S vechicles they used to turn the rotors making them smooth again to get more use before replacing. My dealer says they don't do this, they just replace them. Was wondering the reason? Thx! On standard brakes:

Brake disc run-out must not exceed 0.05 mm.

Rear - Brake disc thickness, NEW = 20 mm; Service limit = 17 mm.
