I doubt the staff at the LRE, Dunkeld would have been so careless as to take a group into a river in spate after heavy rains though. The Creiff Hydro isn't an LRE, it's just place where their staff drive paying guests around an off road course in a Def 110 or the guests drive round on quad bikes. Last April my brother and I went there for a free day of quad biking which was great fun and we are also taken through this section of the river which was way too deep even when he river was low, for a quad bike. Impression I got was that staff bravado came before customers' safety. I have also been there in my own 90 with a club and there was no way any of us would have attempted the river crossing after rain had fallen, it's just too fast flowing. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
