Keep the sport and get a toy, you will never be satisfied with a rrs no matter what guise it comes in if your comparing it with 750 bhp GTR |

+1 Even the new 5ltr SC would not be quick enough, they are cruising machines, not rocket powered roller skates |

Not comparing as nothing would really come close just miss the grunt and power wondered if the supercharged had this to offer? |

I would always say get the Supercharged because I have always had them. I only do bout 6 -7000 miles a year so cost of fuel is not a big thing. The first s/c had about 390bhp which I thought was amazing. But I have just bought the new one which has 510bhp and it's totally a different car. If you have come from a skyline the s/c is not going to be any where near that but to go to the tdv6 is one hell of a jump. You have to test drive the s/c to feel the difference but if you start asking about mpg then stick to the diesels. There is alway the tdv8 which is not a bad motor. Oh and this is no offence to anybody this is just my opinion. But I think any range rover sport is the place to be on a long journey. Good luck with decision. |

If it helps you, 4.2 S/C travelling London to Aberdeen cruising at 85 gets about 19mpg, and at 75 this increases to 22mpg. In town driving I am getting 16-17mpg.

i am well impressed with my55 supercharged, plenty grunt to keep most idiots at bay, and at 70 mph hitting the gas does give you a good old kick in the pants.

If you want propel a box weighing over a couple of tonnes it'll take some massive energy - so you'll pay whether is uses diesel or petrol. |
