2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HST Java Black
HSE to HST

Hi, Thinking about fitting the hst kit to my 56 reg tdv6 rrs hse. Am i right in thinking that to do this i need to change bumpers, grill, sidevents, exhaust tips?

Love to hear from anyone who has done this to give me some tips and advice???

Will parking sensors and spotlights from hse bumper directly fit into hst bumper?

Regards poolie Thumbs Up

Scotland 2011 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Autobiography Stornoway Grey

Hi Mate,

I had mine supplied, fitted and painted by Land Rover.

Front Bumper c/w Tow Cover & fog lights (parking sensors will fit, fog lights will NOT)
Rear Bumper c/w Tow Cover (again parking sensors fit)
Exhaust Mufflers x 2
Exhaust Tips x 2
Grille
Rear Spoiler
Lower boot moulding (forgot to add that bit in)

I did not opt for side vents as i had different ones.

If you PM me your email i can send you over my original quote which lists all required part numbers for the conversion

I don't know what advantage/disadvantage there would be, all i know is when i enquired at my local dealer for a quote for what was required for the full HST conversion i was advised to fit mufflers.

The guy that done the quote is switched on so i am quite happy taking his word for it. At the end of the day they are not that much and i would rather have the job done right.

Interestingly enough the LR price i was given with a customer discount because i bought the vehicle from them made the price of the kit cheaper than anywhere else i tried, including some site sponsors.

i fitted mufflers to my previous HST conversion and then my latest one I never and both systems needed a welded join so made no difference apart from initial cost

Right so finally getting round to hst "ing" my car..

This is the list of what i need i think.. if theres anything else please let me know?

grill
spoiler
exhaust bracket? These are £22 + from lr will i be able to get these from a autoparts speciallist?
bezels x2
fogs x2
lower toweye cover
rear toweye cover
rear bumper
front bumper
exhaust pipes x2
Mufflers? What do these do? If i can getaway with not fitting them it will save me £230 +

Do these parts come with all fixings or is that extra cost?

A12dy sounds like you did yours yourself is it easy enough to do, barring the painting and fitting of exhaust pipes?

Best regards poolie Smile

I just ordered the parts and sent it all to the bodyshop so yeah really easy lol

mufflers are back boxes but there is no need for them or brackets, I got the tail pipes took it too an exhaust place the then welded my new tailpipes in place,

ensure you get the diesel tailpipes they have a curve in or straight if you have petrol

Thanks mate Thumbs Up Did you get the pipes fitted after you had the kit put on? Reason i ask is if i put pipes on first and their not bang on they could vibrate against bumper.

By the way i think that grey rrs is classy got any photos of the sides? Mint looking car Thumbs Up
