England 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
No power below 2500 rpm

Had a great weekend down in the Cotswolds, but on the way back the car suddenly refused any power below 2500 rpm, so roundabouts and traffic lights became very difficult and embarrising, the next 130 miles were dealt with in commandshift so as to keep the revs up, the car performed as normal when above 2500 rpm, also when we hit the rev band the took off like a scolded cat but very smokey, anyone got any ideas?
I have had issues similar to this on other cars which were down to the turbo, but they just lacked power full stop, I also thought about the EGR valves?????

This is the link to the TDV6 kit ...

Fitting is pretty straight forward - took me a couple of hours ( made lengthier by dropping a nut down into the depths of the engine bay Embarassed Rolling Eyes

an alternative to blanking at the EGR end is to crimp at the intake manifold end.

Easier to get to also.

(Ignore the red arrow, the two EGR pipes are the 2 mesh covered ones in front)

Once these pipes enter the intake manifold, they change to a retangular profile, and can be easily crushed and crimped, then re-fitted to make an invisible blank off RRS gone
