Poland 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Rimini Red

saw one today driving next to me. it looks completely different on the street among other cars than in the showroom. especially very small tail glass. at one point it stood next to a freelander and freelander was higher and looked bigger in general.

'was fun, wasn't it. Park Assist is a hoot:

Noticeable though that they don't use real cars nor pavements full of prams with babies in to park against. Health and Safety hey. Pah.

Never been in a car that had it fitted before so I have to say it felt very strange.

Yes.

We can drive at a constant speed but we still have cruise control.

You can stop without ABS, steer without PAS, see without xenons but it is all about making life easier in this busy modern world, if I had confidence in it I would use it all the time. Thumbs Up

To pass your driving test, you need to be able to parellel park, you do not need cruise control nor do you need xenon headlights or power steering, do you think the DSA would let you use park assist on your driving test Question
But i see where you are coming from moving with the times and technology Some people just like gadgets Whistle

Being a newbie to Park Assist I was very sceptical and assumed you would need a space as long as a football pitch for it to work.......... Having now experienced it, I have to say that it is spot on. Not just a feature for those who naturally find it difficult to park, but also for confident 'parkers' to save them the effort and also reduces the need for an extra shunt or two to get straight. I'm now a Park Assist convert! Thumbs Up

Only thing is, you have to unpark yourself afterwards, however getting out of a space is a lot easier than getting in to it! Whistle

James Thumbs Up
