Towing electrics

Hi - has anyone here had experience of fitting towing electrics to the RRS? I am awaiting delivery of a ball mounted cycle carrier and electrics for the light board is the next job - dealers price just seems high!

There’s a pretty good thread over on the D3 forum discussing the fitting of an adjustable height tow bar & associated electrics.

http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3346

The tow bars on the D3 are exactly the same as for the RRS, as would the fitting procedure. The only difference might be with the removing of the rear light cluster to facilitate hooking up the electric connections.

But the instructions that come with the kit would clear that up.

There’s a bit of a knack which eases the fitting of the adjustable tow bar, which is covered on the thread. This may be of help to any RRS owners tackling the job themselves.
