why isnt a plug in box feasible? Not necessarily this one, but e.g. the powerklick ones, why wouldnt they work. Isnt it an advantage in that they dont get erased everytime the software is updated. |

You're right but they are noticable to dealers as they are a physical black box stuck under your bonnet. More chance of being caught and warranty issues.

I don't think it's quite that simple. It is way down at the back of the engine which is not easy to access, but can be seen is the car was being serviced. ok, I think thepowerklick ones sit just under the engine cover, but my main point was that you don't have to pay TC to fly over to you in a different continent to remap your car.
