No Dill it wasnt a boat, it was another Sport, but my enthusiasm was somewhat deflated due to being trumpeted by a Transit.

Penzance is about 4-5 hours from Exeter. 08 2.7 RRS "S"

But they arent that much better than before Rolling with laughter only moved the snarl up further along the roads.

Chris, its a fair haul, I was up in the Leeds/Walkington area a few weeks back and it took me just over 4 hours each way, that was in full attack mode mind ! 08 2.7 RRS "S"

As for the trip it's about 310 for me your worst bit will be from Newton into TQ that can add an hour, or come off the A38 at Teignmouth and thru' Shaldon....scenic route. 08 2.7 RRS "S"

Or at Newton r/about go first left and immediately right up the hill - takes you into Torquay the back away and avoids the Kingkerswell jam.

Down side to the St Marychurch route is that you have to sit in the que on the dual carriageway to get to it......and it's awfull narrow Confused

@Ady theres nothing like a mind blowing trip at warp factor 9..............just sitting there munching the miles, half expecting a big hold up to blow your blagging rights. The problem we have here is there are lots of people be they grockles or residents all trying to go somewhere but no infrastructure to get them from A to B, it's at it's worst in the summer when it rains and all the visitors take to the roads instead of the beaches Banging Head Banging Head 08 2.7 RRS "S"

Ady,
Have you ever used the LR sat nav,I wouldn't trust it to get me to my local pub Whistle
Mostly use my Tom Tom but for some reason the cigarette lighter socket in my new car doesn't like the plug,it got so hot it nearly set on fire earlier this week, had to plug it behind me with the wire going over my lap !!! MY2011 HSE Santorini/Ivory/Piano Black/Privacy Glass/TV .Sadly gone.
